Full Mouth Implants Camarillo

A Life-Long Solution for Missing Teeth

Full mouth implants are a transformative solution for those with extensive tooth loss or damaged teeth. This advanced procedure replaces an entire arch of missing teeth with secure, natural-looking implants, providing a permanent, functional, and aesthetic solution. Unlike traditional dentures, full mouth implants offer excellent stability, comfort, and a more natural feel. With improved chewing ability and a confident smile, full mouth implants at Camarillo Premier Dental restore your teeth' appearance and function, allowing you to enjoy life with renewed confidence and comfort.
  • Unparalleled Authenticity: Full mouth implants closely mimic the appearance and feel of natural teeth, offering a more realistic smile and bite.
  • Permanent Solution: Unlike removable dentures, full mouth implants provide a long-lasting solution that doesn’t require replacement over time.
  • Swift Recovery: Thanks to advanced techniques, recovery time is quicker than traditional tooth replacement methods, allowing you to return to normal activities faster.
  • Uncovered Palate: Unlike dentures, implants do not cover the palate, allowing for a more natural taste and enhanced comfort.
  • Unmatched Chewing Performance: Implants restore full chewing functionality, allowing you to eat all foods without discomfort.
  • Customized for Limited Bone Availability: Full mouth implants can be customized to fit even those with limited bone density through bone grafting or implant techniques.
  • Enhanced Food Enjoyment: Implants allow you to enjoy your favorite foods without worrying about slipping or discomfort, improving your eating experience.

How Does It Work?

Getting full mouth implants begins with a comprehensive consultation, during which our team at Camarillo Premier Dental will assess your oral health, discuss your goals, and create a personalized treatment plan. This may involve digital imaging and 3D scans to evaluate the structure of your jawbone. Bone grafting may be performed to ensure a stable implant foundation. Once the treatment plan is in place, the implant procedure begins with placing titanium posts into the jawbone, serving as the foundation for your new teeth.

After the implants are placed, a healing period of several months is required to allow the implants to integrate with the bone, a process known as osseointegration. Once fully healed, customized crowns or bridges are attached to the implants, creating a natural-looking and fully functional set of teeth. The result is a permanent solution that restores your smile, improves your bite, and enhances your overall quality of life.

Am I Eligible For Full Mouth Implants?

Eligibility for full mouth implants depends on your overall oral health and the condition of your jawbone. Ideal candidates typically have good oral hygiene, are free of gum disease, and have sufficient bone density to support the implants. If your bone density is low, bone grafting procedures may be recommended. Patients with chronic health issues, such as uncontrolled diabetes, may need additional evaluation. During a consultation at Camarillo Premier Dental, we will assess your individual needs and discuss your options to determine if full mouth implants are the right solution for you.

Factors Determining Costs

The cost of full mouth implants varies depending on several factors, including:
  • Materials and Technology: The quality of the implants' materials, such as titanium or zirconia, and the technology used for planning and placing them can influence the overall cost. Advanced imaging and 3D planning may add to the expense but offer more precision for better results. Additionally, custom-designed prosthetics like crowns or bridges can affect the final price.
  • Additional Procedures: Some patients may need preparatory treatments like bone grafting, sinus lifts, or tooth extractions before receiving implants. These extra procedures increase the overall cost of full mouth implants but are necessary to ensure a stable foundation for the implants and optimal long-term results.
At Camarillo Premier Dental, we provide a thorough consultation to help you understand your options and give an accurate cost estimate based on your needs.

How Much Time Will It Take For The Entire Procedure?

Inside the dentist’s chamber, the actual procedure for full mouth implants typically takes 4-6 hours, depending on the case's complexity. The dentist will place titanium posts into the jawbone, the foundation for the new teeth. Additional procedures, such as bone grafting or sinus lifts, may be performed to ensure the implants' stability. After the initial surgery, temporary teeth are placed for aesthetic purposes while the implants heal and take around 4 months. Once healing is complete, the final set of custom-made teeth is fitted, completing the process.

Mouth Impressions

The lab uses advanced materials to create your temporary implant bridge(s). If multiple teeth are missing in the treated area, the doctor may recommend a wax try-in. This process involves making a wax model of your temporary bridge to ensure proper bite alignment, aesthetics, and other essential factors.

Procedure

The procedure includes extracting any required teeth and placing implants. Additionally, temporary implant bridges will be installed. On average, the entire process typically takes about 4 to 6 hours.

Post Op #1

Please monitor your healing progress after the procedure, and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Post Op #2

At your 3-week follow-up appointment, we’ll remove the sutures and assess your healing. By this time, you’ll typically be cleared to start using a water flosser or WaterPik.

Try In

Once impressions are taken, we’ll provide a prototype of your final teeth within 5-10 days. Multiple wax try-ins may be needed to ensure the fit and look are perfect. Your satisfaction with the wax try-ins is crucial before the final fabrication. Please note that no changes can be made once your bridge(s) are finalized. Any alterations requested after approval and fabrication will incur a full-cost remake charge.

Seat Final Teeth

After approving the wax try-ins, it will take about 4-6 weeks to prepare your final bridge(s) for seating.
